You can use the software to convert, for example, read a STEP file into a 3D PDF. It’s also possible to convert directly from your 3D modeling program, such as AutoCAD. The converter can also, of course, accept the native CAD files, which means you can import CAD files of any type and the converter will turn it into a 3D PDF. However, the software does not support the use of loose parts for borderless CAD modeling.
The main advantage of the software is that it is very easy to use – drag-and-drop files, then click a button, and you’re done. 3D data is merged into the existing PDF file, creating a new PDF. The conversion works reasonably quick and is reasonably accurate. It’s easy to check using Acrobat’s built-in 3D Tool that you’re happy with the results, so you can easily export converted PDF for use on your 3D printer.
If you download the software, you ask you can click through all the settings you want, and you’ll be able to do some pretty impressive 3D printings. But don’t get me wrong: I’m not telling you not to try the software as many have reported that it works. It just might not suit your needs. If you get stuck, Tech Soft 3D does have a very large customer support line, and if you send an e-mail, you may be lucky to get a quick response. 7211a4ac4a
